Bushin is a very friendly club with a mix of beginners and seasoned martial artists. Classes are for all levels and you don’t need to be fit or flexible. Just bring your normal gym kit and join right in! If you want to see what we do for yourself, stop by and watch anytime!

Do I Need To be fit?
Fitness comes with training and you will discover you’ve become fitter through regular training as Bushin is a high intensity exercise.
how do i progress?
To develop, build on your skills, and assess your progress, Bushin has a grading system to enable you to test your skills under pressure.
Depending on ability and with regular training Black Belt is attainable within 4 years.
what do i need to bring?
To get started just wear your normal gym kit and trainers and you will get a Bushin Tshirt when you join. We mainly use MMA gloves and focus pads and highly recommend you purchasing this equipment if you sign up to fully benefit from each class.
Bring a buddy
Training is better with mates. If you and a friend book a trial session and both decide to join on the night, we will waive your joining fee of £50. You will still need to pay for your first month of training on the night.
Existing members introducing a friend will receive one month of free training.
Will i get injured? is it safe?
Bushin is a safe training environment for everyone. We have a mix of men and women and we always take into account individual skill levels. Accidents are very rare and fighting is done in a very controlled manner. Classes are supervised by Sensei Jason who has first aid training and is DBS checked.
do you teach kids
We are currently not taking on any new students under the age of 18.
How Do i pay? Is there a contract?
Monthly training fees are paid by direct debit in advance. Your first payment will include the joining fee.
We just ask for a month’s notice if you wish to cancel for any reason.

PRICEs
Monthly lesson fees are taking by direct debit monthly in advance, with the breakdown below. Your first month (pro rata'd) is paid alongside your membership fee after your trial at the end of the session when you decide if you want to join.
There may be special events during the year such as guest instructors. These are for members only and will be charged additionally per event.
Membership Fee
- After your trial session if you decide you want more, join us by becoming a member. This will cover your insurance, a digital starter pack, a Bushin tshirt, and 50% off your first grading fee.
- Membership is free for the whole month of August. You just need to pay your your first month of training if you decide to join us.
- Annual membership renewal is £15/year thereafter
